Ingredients
- Rice
- Garlic cloves
- Brown onion
- Bell pepper (2 colours)
- Scotch bonnet
- Coconut oil
- All-purpose seasoning
- Black pepper
- Garlic granules
- Seasoning cube
- Crayfish seasoning
- Coconut milk
Method
- Prepare the following ingredients:
- 3 garlic cloves, diced
- ½ brown onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper (2 colours), chopped into cubes
- 1 scotch bonnet, diced
- In a pan, heat up 1.5 tbsps of coconut oil for ca. 1-2 minutes
- Sautee your onions and garlic for ca. 2 minutes on a medium to hot temperature
- Add in your bell peppers and scotch bonnet and cook down for ca. 2 minutes
- Season with:
- ½ tsp. of all-purpose
- ½ tsp. of black pepper
- ½ tsp. of garlic granules
- 1 seasoning cube
- Season with:
- Add 200ml of coconut milk and 1 tbsp. of crayfish seasoning
- Cook down the mix for around 10 minutes on a medium to hot temperature
- Add 1 ¾ cups of cooked rice and mix in
- Cover and steam on a low temperature until the rice has fully softened (around 30-40 minutes)
