Ingredients
- Rice
- Ginger
- Cloves
- Sugar
Method
- Soak 1 cup of rice overnight
- When ready to make the drink, wash the rice by running under water a few times until the water runs clear
- Add the following to a blender, and blend until smooth:
- The soaked and washed rice
- 1 inch of ginger
- 3 cloves
- 1 cup of water
- Strain into a bowl
- Re-strain 3-4 times to get the drink as smooth as possible
- Add 1 cup of sugar and mix in
- Serve with ice
