Ingredients
- Green seasoning
- Jerk seasoning
- Black pepper
- Fish seasoning
- All-purpose
- Garlic granules
- Honey
- ½ lemon
- Brown sugar
- Olive oil
- Spray oil
- Salt
- Parsley
Method
- Clean your salmon with water and lemon and pat dry with kitchen towel
- Mix the following seasonings into a small bowl (dry mix):
- ½ tbsp. of green seasoning
- ½ tbsp. of jerk seasoning
- 1 tsp. of black pepper
- 1 tsp. of salt
- ½ tbsp. of fish seasoning
- ½ tbsp. of all-purpose
- ½ tbsp. of garlic granules
- Use gloves to rub the seasoning mix thoroughly into your salmon
- Marinate in the fridge for half an hour if you have time; or otherwise, cook immediately
- Mix the following seasonings into a small bowl (liquid mix):
- ½ tbsp. of jerk seasoning
- 1 tbsp. of honey
- 1 tbsp. of water
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- ½ tbsp. of olive oil
- ½ tbsp. of brown sugar
- 1 tsp. of soy sauce
- Use a kitchen brush to coat your salmon with some of this liquid
- Spritz with spray oil
- Cook your salmon in the oven on 200°C for 25 minutes. Turn half way through, and re-coat again in the liquid seasoning
- Creating the sauce/gravy:
- Pour the remainder of the liquid mix into a small bowl
- Add the following:
- ½ tbsp. of jerk seasoning
- ½ tbsp. of honey
- 1 tsp. of soy sauce
- 1 tsp. of brown sugar
- Bring to a boil
- Garnish with parsley
- Serve with rice and asparagus, or mash potatoes and asparagus
