Method
- Mix the following in a bowl:
- 2 cups of plain flour
- 1 tsp. of salt
- Create a well in the dry ingredients and add ¾ of water
- Kneed into a dough
- Add small amounts of water bit by bit until you have a firm dough (watch video for an example)
- Take away and store in the fridge for 10 minutes
- Remove and tear into small balls (~4)
- Roll into a ball, flatten slightly and create a small dip in the ball to get to the desired shape
- Add your disc-shaped dumplings into a boiling pot of water
- Boil for ca. 15-20 minutes (you’ll know the dumplings are done as they start to rise to the top). You can mix around in the water while cooking
- These go best with a soup!
