Ingredients
- 600 grams of chicken (different pieces)
- ½ medium onion
- Scotch bonnet peppers
- ½ medium red bell pepper
- Chicken stock cubes
- Pepper soup seasoning
- Scent leaves or basil
Method
- Blend down or use a food processor for the following:
- ½ medium onion
- 2 or more scotch bonnet peppers (with seeds in)
- ½ medium red bell pepper
- You can add water to help it blend easier; you want the blend to be rough
- Clean ca 600g of chicken (different pieces), and add to a pot:
- Add 2 chicken stock cubes
- Add your blend
- Add 1 tbsp. of pepper soup seasoning
- Mix together thoroughly
- Heat up of medium to hot temperature for 15 minutes
- After 15 minutes, add extra water as needed
- Separately, chop up a handful of scent leaves or basil
- Add to your soup , along with ½ tbsp. of pepper soup seasoning
- Heat for a final 10 minutes on a low to medium temperature
