Ingredients
- Pasta
- ~200g of sirloin steak
- Brown onion
- Bell pepper (2 colours)
- Garlic cloves
- Parsley
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic granules
- All-purpose
- Thyme
- Jerk marinade
- Oil
- Mozzarella cheese
- Cream (single or double)
Method
- Boil ~200g of dry pasta as instructed
- Season ~200g of steak of your choice as follows:
- ½ tsp. of salt
- ½ tsp. of black pepper
- 1 tsp. of garlic granules
- ½ tsp. of all-purpose
- 1 tsp. of jerk marinade
- Massage into the meat and set aside in the fridge to marinate
- In a pan, add 1 tsp. of oil; cook your steak on a medium to hot temperate for ~4-5 minutes on each side
- Prepare the following ingredients:
- ½ medium brown onion, sliced
- 1 medium bell pepper (2 colours), sliced
- 2-3 garlic cloves, diced
- Handful of parsley, chopped
- Add 1 tsp. of oil to the same pan where the steak was cooked
- Sautee your onion and garlic for ca. 3 minutes on a medium to hot temperature
- Add in your peppers, cook down for a further ca. 3-5 minutes. Season with ½ tsp. of salt and ½ tsp. of black pepper
- Add ca. 300ml of cream, season further:
- ½ tsp. of all-purpose
- ½ tsp. of thyme
- ½ tsp. of jerk marinade
- Add a handful of mozzarella cheese
- Add your cooked pasta and toss together, simmer for ca. 2 minutes
- Top with your steak and some parsley for garnish
