Ingredients
- 300 grams of king prawns
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 romano pepper
- ½ brown onion
- Scotch bonnet pepper
- Garlic granules
- Black pepper
- Fish seasoning
- All-purpose
- Paprika
- Seasoning cube
- Vegetable oil
Method
- Clean ca. 300 grams of king prawns with water and vinegar
- Pat dry. Season as follows:
- 1 tsp. of garlic granules
- ½ tsp. of black pepper
- 1 tsp. of fish seasoning
- ½ tsp. of all-purpose
- ½ tsp. of paprika
- Mix all seasonings into your prawns
Creating your pepper base:
- Roughly chop and blend the following in a food processor:
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 romano pepper
- ½ brown onion
- 1+ scotch bonnet pepper
Bringing it all together:
- In a pan add:
- 2 tbsps. of vegetable oil
- Cook your prawns for 5 minutes, then remove and save for later
- In the same pan, add your pepper mix
- Season with:
- 1 seasoning cube
- Extra salt/ all-purpose to taste
- Cook down on a medium temperature for 10 minutes
- Re-add your prawns and stir all together
- Garnish with red onions
