Ingredients
- 150g of minced chicken
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic granules
- Brown onion
- Red onion
- Breadcrumbs
- Eggs
- Suya spice
- Oil
- Brioche bun
- Tomato
- Lettuce
Method
- Mix the following into ca. 150g of minced chicken
- ½ tsp. of salt
- ½ tsp. of black pepper
- 1 tsp. of garlic granules
- Small handful of chopped brown onion
- 1 tbsp. of breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. of suya spice
- Marinate in fridge for up to ca. 30 minutes
- Split the minced chicken in half and roll each half into a ball
- In a pan, add 1 tbsp. of oil
- Add your balls once by one and use a spatula to flatten the balls into patties (“smash burgers”)
- Cook on a high heat on both sides for ca. 3-5 minutes each side
- Remove and set to a side. In the same pan, lightly toast your brioche buns as well as 2 slices of tomato
- To assemble your burger:
- Start with a base of tomato/mayo/suya mixed into a sauce
- First patty
- Lettuce
- Second patty
- Slice of tomato
- Lettuce
- Extra sauce
- Extra suya spice
- Fresh red onions
