Ingredients
• 200g of hibiscus flowers
• Ginger
• 1 cinnamon stick
• Sugar
Method
- Boil water in a small-medium pot until it is ¾ full. Add the below contents:
- 200g of hibiscus flowers
- 1 inch of ginger, chopped (doesn’t have to be peeled)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cloves
- Bring to a boil and boil for ca. 5 minutes
- Afterwards turn off the heating, cover and allow to steam overnight or for at least 4 hours
- Sieve into a bowl
- Add ½ cup of sugar and mix in
- Pour into a pitcher and serve with ice
