Ingredients
- 500 grams of chicken wings
- Salt
- Black pepper
- All-purpose
- Garlic granules
- Chilli flakes
- Chicken seasoning
- Suya spice
- Olive oil
- Lime
Method
- Clean ca 500 grams of chicken wings with water and vinegar or lemon
- Season as follows:
- ½ tsp. of salt
- ½ tsp. of black pepper
- 1 tsp. of all-purpose
- ½ tsp. of garlic granules
- 1 tsp. of chilli flakes
- 1 tsp. of chicken seasoning
- 1 tsp. of suya spice
- Mix all together
- Marinate in the fridge for 3 hours if you have time, otherwise proceed straight to the next step
- Mix 1 tbsp. of suya spice with 2 tbsps. of olive oil and mix together – we’ll use this mix to glaze our wings
- Place your wings on a baking tray, and use a kitchen brush to glaze your wings on both sides
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes on 200°c
- After 25 minutes, flip your wings, and use your kitchen brush to brush on top any remaining suya glaze
- Bake in the oven for a further 10 minutes on 200°c
- Serve with fresh red onion, tomatoes and cucumber for an authentic taste
