Ingredients
- 1 pineapple
- 2 lemons
- 1 orange
- ½ inch of ginger
- Hibiscus leaves (200 grams)
Method
- Start with very roughly chopping the following:
- Pineapple skin and insides (separately), 1
- 2 lemons
- 1 orange
- ½ inch of ginger
- Soak and clean your dried hibiscus leaves (200g) in some water, and place the clean leaves into a pot
- On top, add: your lemons, orange and pineapple skin and ½ tbsp. of cloves
- Mix together and let this simmer on a medium temperature for 20 minutes. Separately, blend down your pineapple skin and ginger until smooth
- Add this mixture to your pot and mix together, simmer for a final 15 minutes. Optional: Add 1/8 cup of sugar
- Strain into a bowl/ pitcher and serve with ice
